This project all kicked off when we decided we wanted to create a flat area in our backyard for our kids to play sports.
We took advantage of our backyard’s slope and heavy, clay soil to build a pond which would also provide the soil to make the flat area we wanted.
The results are a little pond, a bigger pond and creek + waterfall connecting the two.
Nature has invaded the space and created a whole new ecosystem of plants and creatures in our own backyard!
